Without fail, whenever there's an article about a transgender person, the comments have at least one person who boldly declares: “There are only two genders! XX and XY!” The reality, of course, is not that simplistic, far from it.

The ICE Man Cometh Trump’s Gestapo is here. It operates throughout the country. It can suddenly arrest anyone, with no crime alleged, and deport them for permanent imprisonment overseas. Will anyone stop this?

It’s not theoretical. It’s not a future threat. It’s already here: a system of detention and deportation operating outside the law.

Today’s protest in London against the Supreme Court ruling was staggering in size.

Huge respect to those who made this happen in just a matter of days.

Imagine the size of the crowd Sex Matters would have mustered to protest, if the ruling had been different.

Take heart. The tide will turn.

There are alternatives:

1. 0% interest rates or,
2. Stop paying interest on bank reserves

but that would hurt the rich, so lets not do that
