I just saw Mochi attempting to lick Dino's back but then he moved a little and she instantly 'corrected' him by fake-biting his ear ... Uhhh I guess.

I love those little shredded chicken for cats packets because I just tricked Mochi and Dino into eating carrot soup. (Bella was like 'I want some too' the entire time until I put the dish down and then she was like 'you know what... maybe I don't want it')

After today's nonsense I'm at least glad injecting Dino only took two attempts. 7 more days to go.
I'm looking forward to the day where he won't be scared around injection time. When I can pet his back without him getting suspicious or him hurting from injection bumps.

Um. I just had to get rid of a dead pigeon on my balcony. No idea how it died either, it sure didn't look like another bird attacked it. I'm just glad I saw it before any of the neighborhood crows had a chance to dig in or before any of my cats went out on the balcony.

Uh wow great: I tried fixing the gummy lip of one of my surefeed bowls since it kept coming off and apparently cut my finger on the stainless steel.

Also yes I did ask a vet about something that could help calm him down while also saying that I do not believe that homeopathy does anything and that I'm aware a placebo like bach flowers only works if you think it will as a preface so she wouldn't try that on me.

I can barely find any loose skin on him anymore in the area where I can inject. Sure, the neck skin is still untouched but it's not recommended to inject GS there due to the slower absorption.
He's upset. I'm upset. Thursday next blood test at the vet. Hopefully good news in that regard.

(I don't think vets even give you gabapentin in my country because I know from English FIP help sites that they rec it for cats sometimes. CBD is not recommended since it passes the blood-brain barrier and Dino has neuro FIP. Bach flowers are snake oil nonsense. So not much to choose from.)

It's been tough. Dino has been extra scared for a few days now. I also recently got Zylkene for him which is supposed to help with stress and anxiety but it takes a while to do anything. If it helps at all. Unfortunately there aren't many recommendations in my help group.

My personal office fight against windmills is turning both radiators on when it's cold only for my coworker to turn them completely off the next day.

I wished I could sit in a different office room because this is terrible and ridiculous.

After making me worry for the last couple of days Dino finally went back to eating more. Just refilled his bowl and it's almost empty again.
I also have no idea which cat recently had diarrhea but that seems to be over as well.
