Endless Mecha

This was the fastest,smoothest gloss coat application I’ve ever done.I’m blown away at the quality of this Gaahleri airbrush. For about $50 this thing is going to be my topcoat workhorse for a long time. I think I’m gonna get their Ace series brush to replace my other airbrush as well.

5am is a wild time to get a package, definitely won’t make that mistake again lol, but I gotta say I’m super pleasantly surprised at how nice this thing feels.

Mother of God I just realized I chose the 4am-8am delivery choice for the airbrush and I can’t change it now. 😭

Got a Gaahleri airbrush coming in the morning. I guess at least I got some extra needles and an extra hose out of it. Luckily I only spent $4 on it after using an ancient Amazon gift card I had forgotten about.

Ty! And yeah I put a ton of work into that inner frame and that was before I even had an airbrush, I still remember sitting for hours dipping dspiae markers in water and alcohol to keep them super thinned out.

I try to mask off pegs as much as possible, and peg holes generally get the “avoid as much as possible” treatment while I spray. Usually I have no issues if I’ve been careful but if I do run into problem areas I just use my dull hobby knife to scrape back paint till the fitting is back to normal.

Finally the last round of colors for FAZZ are applied. Now I’m just one gloss>panel line>decals>matte coat cycle away from completing this fully painted project 🥹 #gundam #gunpla #plamo #wip

Had to replace the airbrush I’ve been using for topcoats mid project. Got a iwata dupe from Amazon for the time being since my husband is planning on getting me a higher end one for X-mas, but man my military minis friend was right, you will eventually outskill cheap tools. 😭

It was one big one, but most of it is just a ton of smallish - medium decals and it’s not looking like I’m gonna have much left over besides alternate unit numbers

Freaking finally done with the decals on FAZZ phase 3 (outer armor). I somehow always try to gaslight myself into believing the number of waterslides in a Ver.ka is reasonable and won’t take that long to apply. I gotta stop lying to myself lmao 😭

Yes!! Shurikens really feel necessary this time and feel less like they are interrupting the flow of the sword play. The blood raven moves are also so fun to weave into combos.

Got to spend yesterday with my Mom and my Grandmother who helped raise me who now has dementia. She recognized me several times and that right there is worth the world. I just gotta type it again, that right there is worth the world.

I would never have guessed that, then again I don’t think I’ve gone on twitch to do anything but get poe2 drops in probably 6+ years. It’s definitely something to consider though, if I ever figure out a setup that could make my chaotic process bearable to watch.

Yeah everything had to be labeled for sure this time, been going without them for smaller builds but FAZZ just has too many small ambiguous parts to go unlabeled.

I’m gonna fully admit this is too many parts to have clipped up at once if you value your sanity lmao. I really should have split this phase into two lmao
