In comms/psych this is called the โmere exposureโ effect. Unfortunately it does often work and is a large part of why ads are the way they are today

15.02.2026 17:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Right?! I ski (or at least I used to) and I think Iโve solidly hit the 30-40mph range and felt like I was absolutely flying. Quadruple that is absolutely unreal. Thatโs like โif you make a mistake, you are instantly human pasteโ territory

15.02.2026 04:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Now there was that space jump, but those circumstances were extremely exceptional and required rockets to reach altitude. Felix Baumgartner broke the sound barrier with his body and went 843.6mph. I watched it live, it fucking ruled
15.02.2026 04:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0If environmental advantages are allowed, average terminal velocity is about 120mph and you can simply jump off a sufficiently high place for that
Speed skiers with optimized aerodynamics have reached 158mph. Thatโs the fastest a human can go powered entirely by their own body
No machines but a blade is a wedge and a wedge is a simple machine
โUnder their own powerโ with no mechanical or environmental advantages whatsoever would be running or swimming. Level surfaces, no advantages. Ergo the fastest a human can travel like that is Usain Bolt

A close up of the box for the RE/100 Lindwurm Gundam plastic model kit, priced at $100
Current Book-Off NYC (45th) #gunpla stock. That Lindwurm was tempting, but those prices are highway robbery. Kit is $56 new on P-Bโฆ

Mina the Hollower launches Spring 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Steam.
If you buy it on Steam, you could play it on something like a Retroid Pocket for that Vita-like experience *and* youโd get Steam achievements for it
RP5 and beyond can handle that

12.02.2026 22:04 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As an audience member, itโs easy to see ZZโs shortcomings and leave it at that
But as a creative? I guarantee I could not do better in those conditions. That it ever turns into something good, never mind something GREAT, is nothing short of a miracle. Incredible effort by that creative team
After I watched, I looked up more information on it. ZZ aired *weeks* after Zeta. It was brutally rushed by the network for no good reason, so they were making it up as they went along
Around 16 is when CCA was greenlit, so that became the narrative target. Thatโs when the show came together
Whatโs this โreferenceโ thing? Do landlords have to refer you to other landlords when you try to move where you are? That soundsโฆwildly unethical
12.02.2026 14:43 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0One of the prequel manga series, F90FF, is one of my favorite Gundam manga. Itโs great
I doubt weโll ever get a full F91 series, but I *really* hope we get Crossbone someday
The first 16 episodes are among the worst Iโve seen in all of Gundam and the first episode itself is maybe the worst episode of TV Iโve ever seen
That second half, though? Excellent. Gripping story, outstanding theme song, Haman Karn at her best and most terrifying
ZZ contains multitudes
That shot really puts into perspective just how much of a unit Sazabi is. The silhouette is readable even from the thumbnail, despite it being the farthest kit away in the shot

10.02.2026 06:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Honestly if youโre missing more than a few parts or youโre missing multiple entire runners, sometimes the best solution is a full kit replacement
I broke some parts on my RG Wing and if I couldnโt repair, it wouldโve been ~$15-20 shipped for TWO PARTS. The kit is like $30-40 retail
Mr Bao is my go-to. Odinโs Mecha occasionally has stuff. AliExpress may have the parts you need, too
There are official channels for parts replacement but 2yr is too long, IIRC
What specifically is missing? Do you have photos?
