Why is this important?
For meta-stable, #IDPs this resolves the previously perceived issue of those proteins breaking the apparent maximum chemical rates. So, weβre one step closer to being able to integrate HDX experiments and molecular dynamics simulations in a fully quantitative manner.

What have we found?
Using millisecond #HDX mass spectrometry experiments we show that the most accurate rate calibrations are achieved by using the fully unstructured 3-Ala as reference (not PDLA, which is common).
