It was fun talking about this project at a conference - I think for the first time - and a pleasure to give the very last talk at #MultiBac2025. I learned so much about multicellular bacterial systems at this meeting and take home a number of ideas and concepts.

Interdisciplinary work is still not really embraced by academia.

The Living Systems Institute at University of Exeter is a pioneering interdisciplinary research centre focused on understanding the fundamental principles of living systems and applying this knowledge to address challenges in health and life sciences.
Different type of conference for me today. It was a pleasure contributing to a session at EAUC conference on reducing aviation emissions, talked about @meehubs.bsky.social and new ways of conferencing. Encouraging to hear what is happening in the sector.
