Math professor, Out-of-the-Closet Mensan, Married stepfather and Papa. My dog Luna is my TA. As a self-appointed Court Jester, I see through the bullshit that’s going on, and I have no more fucks to give. Illegitimi non carborundum!!!
I used to do the bit where Bullwinkle attempts to pull a rabbit out of a hat. Both voices. My students are now too young to know, but I’ll have to them. 😁

I just hope she has good eyeshades and nose plugs, because that’s awful. Malaria must pay her very well to do this for her.

Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Press Office is the best political social media team of all time.
ATVS ON PUBLIC STREETS!!! OMYGAWD!!!!!
Next it’ll be the Crotch-Rocket Brigade with their color-coordinated mini-motorcycles and satin outfits roaring down the avenue!!! Maude, get me my phone, ‘cause I’ve got to call the President RIGHT THIS SECOND!!!!!
Any journalist still reporting a "both sides" now only has one side.
If you still report the Israeli claims you are complicit in this.
The color of the blood is all wrong also. That's the color of "prop" blood. Just google it.
Real blood is deeper red in color.

That's it, no big secret. 💁♀️

Between the close-cropped hair and beard, the glasses, his voice, and this suit, Seth Rogen’s transformation into a human Muppet is now officially complete.

www.amazon.com/Constitution...
They’re both included at constitution.congress.gov/constitution/. Habeas corpus and ex post facto are both in Section 9, by the way.
07.08.2025 00:07 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I am 63. I was in diapers during the Bay of Pigs crisis and, yes, I’m aware of how bad that was… even though my memory doesn’t go back quite that far.
I started with the point that most of my students were born after 9/11. I feel old… it seems like yesterday to me. 😳
The politics and the music reflected the times, and I explained my choice in music for the lesson.
Every time I taught that lesson, my students were stunned. That’s the kind of lesson I love to teach, because they truly learn and remember it.
No matter what the first-round choices were (launching always was laughed at heartily), the teams always agreed not to launch, thankfully.
I noted that I went to college during the early 80s, when US-USSR tensions were extremely high. We weren’t entirely sure we’d be around the next day.
For the second round, each side sentenced 3-4 delegates for a summit. The group received a two-sided payoff matrix, giving a more complete picture of the consequences of their choices. I collected their decision as well. The background music: “Stand or Fall” by The Fixx.

I used to teach a lesson in game theory about mutual assured destruction. The class was split into Americans and Soviets.
So… which one’s the ass?!?

I’ve even started a project I’ve threatened to do since I was 40 (I’m now 63). Now, the time is right. More on that as it develops.
Chin up! Elbows up! Illegitimi non carborundum!
The TV is off, the music is on, and I am writing notes and programs. Life has to go on and I have to budget my time wisely. So, even though I feel this way about what’s going on…
06.08.2025 14:07 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I’m trying to budget my online time. I go back to the classroom in a month, so there is prep to do. Also, there are the usual chores, appointments, family time, and so on.
I’m also trying to be productive and clear my head of the negative thoughts due to the current state of affairs.
