It is based on the "Knit by numbers" by Julie Theaker (as are many of the sweaters I make.) I divined the fade myself based on the colors I had.

I used Lion Brand Basic Stitch Premium.
For the froth I used a loopy type yarn I got at the dollar store, I don't know the brand.

Before I started I had planned on the small size, all in purple and white, but when I cast on I went for the large and ran out of purple. So I did the top border in blue, and then to make it symmetrical, so I redid the lower border in blue and kitchnered it back together, all 339 stitches.

I used Pound of Love (Lion Brand) and the large size ended up being 73 inches by 22 inches, not counting the fringe.

It took three weeks of intensive knitting, but is done for a Christmas present for my sister.

Done! I really liked the numbers on the charts. they were very helpful. I used Pound of Love (Lion Brand) and the large size ended up being 73 inches by 22 inches, not counting the fringe. 1/2

Half finished shawl. Knitwork in two colors.

Half done, I may actually get this finished by Christmas.

Finished the border. I used a icord cast on. I did make one change to the fringe stitches, instead of {CC1, MC1} 12 times I did {MC1,CC1} 6 times and then {CC1,MC1} 6 times to give me two stitches the same at the middle, so I would be less likely to mess up the steeking.

Left over Thanksgiving pizza.
Homemade pizza dough, cream cheese, stuffing, turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, cheese.
Cranberry relish on the side.
Almost better than Thanksgiving dinner.
