Food is great, but money can buy food in January when donations are low but days are cold. Sign up to volunteer when the generous donor unannounced sends a truck load of health but perishable food.
02.12.2025 22:40 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0If you read this and are thinking about your local foodbank, money is a much better donation than food. The foodbank needs shelves, refrigeration, electricity for storing food. The foodbank needs to repair the van to drive loads of food to locations. Money doesn't spoil and is more flexible
02.12.2025 22:40 β π 5 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0I hate listening, but it is so ludicrous that I can't expect anyone to believe me unless I can say, yes I actually heard Noem say this. Potemkin village surrounding him is more plausible every day. π
02.12.2025 22:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Center today moved to end a livestock industry lawsuit that'd tried unsuccessfully to stop the Forest Service from removing feral cows from the Gila Wilderness.
With the removal complete and cows gone, endangered species habitat along the Gila River is recovering beautifully.
Even Issaquah not safe. Good long article with lots or regional stuff.

And underlining lukewarm
bribes is accurate

This morning. Delighted to see blue sky for the start of a busy day. Painting, however, did not get done

28.11.2025 20:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Bisti Badlands feature a variety of unique rock formations, such as hoodoos and cracked eggs, created by millions of years of erosion on layered sandstone, shale, mudstone, and coal. The landscape was once a swamp in an inland sea during the late Cretaceous period.
