Every argument about Transphobia has mirrored to me much of the rhetoric around immigration and race back then. The hang wringing over the minimal protection of the inadequate Race Relations Act, which had to be pulled out of Labour like teeth. Like you think people would learn. But no.

If they are as in touch with trans people on this as they say they are, then they should logically realise they should be extra loud and clear and understand that support for the previous status quo isn't going to endear them to us.

Add all the context around Ellie's usage of biological and not cis woman or Adrian's failure to fall in line behind the Green Party's own trans policy it's hard to give them any benefit of the doubt and not take the worst possible reading. The politicians should know they're on a backfoot here.

Has changed dramatically. Before, it was inclusion by the sports league, and now it's exclusion. To me, the same mindset applies to support for the EA2010 or EHRC guidance extending from it. If this was 2018, then we could assume good faith, but in 2025, the EA2010 is broken after the SC ruling.

I personally kinda struggle with thinking about it this way, even when it is effectively support for the previous status quo. Leaving sports inclusion up to sports leagues has been the status quo and not instigating a blanket ban, but what has happened is the context around that status quo...

Yes, some things he says that got me on board include "Listen to Trans people on what makes someone trans," as well as 'Having gender dysphoria doesn't make you trans' the section on how ROGD got developed and the influence it had on Tavistock. there's a lot more but I’ve gotten half way through.
