I've done animation off and on just for fun as a hobby within the last 20 years! (I made my first flipbook in 2004!) I like to practice with doing these short clips to try and improve more at it! :D

A well-meaning but imperfectly-executed drawing of an Andalite: a blue, four-legged, two-armed, part-deer, part-scorpion alien with a humanoid torso, similar to a centaur, but a little less terrestrial. It is kneeling with its front two deer legs and standing with its back two deer legs, sprinkling some fertiliser or something over a small, green shoot of something growing out of the earth. It is wearing gardening gloves that have been modified to have seven fingers on each hand, and a straw sun visor with a rim floppy enough to cover its face. The background is a vaguely browny-yellow hopefully suggesting a garden or other outdoor environs without the artist having had to actually draw them.

It’s the anniversary of wanna fly away (archiveofourown.org/works/492499...) by @petrichorca.bsky.social and @ghostalservice.bsky.social, one of the best fics I’ve ever read. Inspired me to read the entire Animorphs series, write shouty essays, and make some painfully earnest artwork. Changed me. 💕

My 7 year old made me this perler bead andalite 😍 (his tail blade is bloody from war). I'm so proud.

Two Andalites - furry, blue alien creatures that resemble centaurs. They have humanoid upper bodies and four deer-like legs, with a long tail with a sharp blade attached to the end. Their faces have two eyes, no mouth, pointed ears, and two antenna-type stalks with eyes on the end. The Andalite on the left is large, darker blue, with thicker legs and proportions. The one on the left is shorter and squat, with a shorter tail and lighter blue fur. Think a Clydesdale vs a miniature horse.

I got to play in an AU version of the Hork-Bajir Chronicles for @dndbpod.bsky.social! Illira was my character, a grumpy lil Andalite artificer. The big guy is Sanillian, her bff, played by @alexandbirds.bsky.social. We loved playing with size (and personality) differentiation!
