Now, it's shutting down the fact checking on its platform.

Musk retweeting Tucker Carlson claiming that American youtuber Gonzalo Lira was being tortured for criticizing Zelensky. Community Notes points out that Lira violated Ukraine's criminal code, including exposing the location of journalists and soldiers.

Musk quote tweeting Gonzalo Lira's tweet in which he notes he's trying to escape Ukraine and seek asylum in Hungary. Musk asks Joe Biden "what is the status of this American journalist." Community Notes points out that Lira is a YouTuber, and that he violated Ukraine's community code, revealing the location of Western journalists and Ukrainian soldiers.

Elon responding to the fact that he was community noted, saying "Interesting. This Note is being gamed by state actors. Will be helpful in figuring who they are. Thanks for jumping in the honey pot, guys lmao!" Community Notes responds: "Community Notes requires agreement from contributors of differing perspectives, as such it is highly resistant to gaming. The entire Community Notes algorithm and data is open source, and can be reviewed by anyone by following the links on the page below:"

Meanwhile, speaking of Elon, he fell for some propaganda from Tucker Carlson, got Community Noted, then claimed that it was a "honey pot" to find those "gaming" Community Notes... and got Community Noted again calling bullshit on Elon's claim. 😂
