From the man page:
--porcelain: Give the output in an easy-to-parse format for scripts. This is similar to the short output, but will remain stable across Git versions and regardless of user configuration.

Amongst other things: Marko has been a long time contributor, a maintainer of the deb/rpm package hosting with SIG Release and a lead of the release engineering subproject, and most importantly: a trusted member of our community. The number one thing I'm looking for in SIG K8s Infra TLs is trust, to handle the keys to all our infra and to think carefully about how we manage resources to benefit the project sustainably. I believe Marko has more than earned that trust. At this time no leads are stepping down, but I believe it's important to recognize and promote maintainers and to grow our bench, so I'm nominating Marko to be our fourth active TL. If you're interested in helping organize SIG K8s Infra, we're also putting out an open call for chair mentoring. Come learn and help us organize the SIG, we'll be partnering with SIG Contributor Experience to run a mentoring cohort. Reach out to any of the leads if you're interested and we'll connect folks.
