10.04.2025 00:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The Unfactory, by Derrick Boden in Diabolical Plots. I've read a few other works by Boden and honestly they're pretty consistently bangers (I still think about his story in Escape Pod, Hustle, every now and then without warning). This story about unmaking is no exception.

Cold Iron Clockwork by Derrick Boden By then, nearly every faerie in the dell made use of Alastairโs inventions, had even conscripted him to fashion machines that would aid in their tiresome reprieves - pluck their harps, finger their pipes, braid their hair.
