Pop culture is fundamentally oppositional and upstream of politics. In a world where Democrats (sorta) ran gov't and every megacorp backed Pride there was resentment to tap into. In 2026 MAGA runs everything and DEI is verboten; playing defense is hard. And maybe there's grift fatigue.

TIL enough people have been listening to one specific piece of white noise on Spotify to get it onto streaming charts. (Also,TIL that a lot of seemingly random really old songs are also here for no reason I can discern. "Every Breath You Take?" "Creep?" "Sweater Weather?" Huh?)

The titles of my college classes were all pretty dull, but at least I now have at least one new idea for a song or album title, so...

The latter, I'd think. Fully-assed seems to connote that someone put in effort, which in most contexts is what you want but still sounds funny if it's not desirable. And most dudes should not wear chaps.

I should start using this. I have ideas for social media projects I've been kicking around and this would be a good repository for them.

Plus I can say I did something this weekend that's not grocery shopping or breaking up all the #snowcrete. Seriously, this stuff is the absolute worst.

I've been told that this is the place to be now in terms of social media. Looking forward to finding out.
