Bought the "Thud Ridge" set from TDM recently but subsequently decided I didn't want to game Vietnam....so here are Greek F4s, A7s and Albanian MiG 19s and 21s for a 'what if' 1980s conflict. Quick and easy paint job.

Another OHW session..28mm Italian Wars. Great game that seemed, initially, to be very one-sided but swung to and fro until a much deserved Papal States win.

Played a late WW2 game using OHW rules. Tested the rules by increasing the number of units per side (12 Russ, 9 Germ rather than usual 6/side) and added a couple of new units (Armd Car, Scouts, MMG).. a great game that went all the way to T15...a solid German win!!

Reading through a couple of sets of rules at the mo but wanted to game 1/600th Cold War Baltic...enter scratch set of rules and a quick game. Luftwaffe recon flight of F-104s jumped by East German MiG21s...targets acquired, minor 'scuffle', everyone home safe!!!

Today's 28mm WW1 game using One Hour Wargames rules. British attacking German trenches...ultimately repulsed and then counter attacked. Great fun, cheers to Pete for use of his custom terrain and brilliant figs and to Ben for battling through Illness.

My gaming buddy has gifted me three 10mm Dark Age armies: Norse, Norman and Ango-Saxon...about 650 Pendraken minis!!
I'm going to start with the Norse, here shown split into troop types...this is going to be fun!

Just a quick 15mm WW2 'mini project' finished off. I used a very simple painting process of black undercoat with a fast dry brush over the top. Figures are plastic Battlefront and vehicles are Battlefront and Zvezda.

The struggle is real!!

Yesterday's 20mm WW2 game using "Rapid Fire" rules. A very tough fight for the defending Germans who could just not get their dice going. The British used speed and manoeuvre to overwhelm the enemy and then to destroy the German reinforcements as they arrived.
Great fun.

2nd game in the 1917 Mexican-US campaign. Oh how the tables turned with the Mexicans being soundly beaten and getting nowhere near their objective (occupying the hill by T15...retreated at T10). One game to go (at weekend) to see who comes out on top!
