It's bad enough that he has a platform to spout this shit but it's so much worse that people lap it up as the absolute truth.

#MrScorsese is terrific.

Makes an easy case for Marty being *the* best film director ever and has encouraged me to watch every single one of his movies again.

Well worth a viewing!

Two Netflix films, one seen on the big screen, one on a far smaller screen, would always prefer the option of big though...

Watched #Frankenstein by @realgdt.bsky.social last night at The Regent in Christchurch, the closest screening to Mary Shelley's resting place in Bournemouth.

And it was fantastic. I think I'd go as far as to say it was sumptuous! Jacob Elordi the standout in a top tier cast.

Obviously he's not 97 but his birthday is 31st December. I block as many of these accounts as I can but the posts have endless 'Happy Birthday' replies. People don't seem to care so much about the truth any more...

Facebook is awash with this stuff, and so many people assume it's the real deal. I only really go there via an organisation page rather than my own but I feel like pouring bleach in my eyes half the time. The birthday cake ones are the worst!

The very highest of recommendations for this incredible series (which leaves the movie adaptation in the dust).

Everyone seems to have seen it already but I finally caught up with #OneBattleAfterAnother...

...and yeah, you were all right about it.

Feels like a film you could watch in the 30 years and it would be a great time capsule for the era it was made in.

Bermudian-born Earl Cameron was one of the first Black actors to get star billing and portray an interracial romance in a British film.

Watched this one with my kid today (first time for him).

Seeing it opening weekend 31 (!) years ago remains one of the best cinema experiences I've ever had.

It grabbed hold of the zeitgeist on a level that few films manage.
