akechi's initial reaction to the 'romance' line in amnesia fic was originally "WERE YOU DATING???? WERE YOU HONEST TO GOD DATING? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN." and then i changed it to be more serious because she's furious about goro's engagement with suicide in those interviews.

miyo is the one who is absolutely insulted by the idea of the ending, as a side note. i love the idea of her never having worked through her issues with shido and finding the idea of being seen as his child to be anathema. canon goro went through enough that she gets catharsis of it.

i'm chatty tonight but it's just because i get so excited about writing sometimes. when i get to post tanabata fic, just know i'll be yammering about that for sure.

akira sending incriminating photos that the perfect reality couldn't erase from their phone to their old adult paramours and pissing off akechi, but akechi still hiding the truth from sumire because she'd rather keep akira's dealings a secret for herself alone. ehehehe yay.

now i'm just thinkin' about abattoir. i was rereading the first three chapters last night and getting up to the fourth and was looking forward to where akechi realizes that akira purposefully broke kawakami's brain in order to shatter a piece of maruki's perfect reality.

i am looking forward to writing a normie akeshu explicit fic because the other thing i wrote is Good but also more horror than anything else. this is what it will probably be for the next thing i write for miyo akechi and her travels in dating akira. probably won't be too much but also still there.

abattoir was always due to be rated M because of it having a non-explicit sex scene (not even between akechi and akira) (the most explicit it is is essentially dream wakaba giving akira oral sex before dream akechi slits her throat and disembowls akira) (i love abattoir)

love to just directly quote the fucking divine comedy because i decided it fit the implications of the fic to a T.

the title 'may this horror grow mild and darkness light' is a quote from paradise lost, of which i did read a solid chunk because i was looking for influence excuses on the fic itself. it was a truly feral experience that i was only able to do due to being unemployed at the time, lmao.

i just realized i still have palace fic listed as a t-rated work despite having a literal vivisection scene in it. maybe i should up that. it's been over a year oh my god.

palace fic is still the best and the Most Most me-core, but it's nice to find excuses to write truly self-indulgent works that have no true basis in canon or excuses for why things are happening beyond "i want this to happen." others shall see when i am able to post.

i've been working a lot on final pass edits on my tanabata big bang fic and i'm aggressively looking forward to being able to share it. it isn't the best thing i've ever written, but it is one of the most gale-core things i've done for the fandom which delights me immensely.

that may be more of a Me Thing but i never said that i wasn't projecting a smidge onto akira when i navigate their relationship with gender, teehee.

i honestly often frame akira as more gender neutral with transfem leanings, but i feel like part of that is because i like to navigate akira struggling with explicit ownership of identity. it's easier to be nonbinary and to not lay claim to specific presentations, sometimes.
