Tech is unable to show you what TV and films you might like to watch on the front menu of a streaming service (even though you give away your tastes with every digital interaction) while they’re also insisting that the same tech will be able to make vital everyday decisions for you and your country.

I’m glad MPs including @martinwrigley.bsky.social and the Green leader @zackpolanski.bsky.social are pushing for transparency on UK/Palantir deals. I hope we can remove Palantir entirely from our systems. I am sure my MP @hackneyabbott.bsky.social would agree, Palantir cannot be trusted.

Sad thing is, many in media know this but I don’t think the majority of people outside the industry realise or maybe even care what’s happening to the reliability and quality of content. Lots of us are sucked into endless scrolling, watching clips rather than whole productions and dual screening.

My son's tutor turned his education around. It was their relationship that helped him re-engage with learning. She spent time building that before the teaching began. She tailored her practice to find out how he learns and meet his needs. Al can't build the essential genuine relationships.

Terrible idea. Kids benefit hugely from interactions with caring, specialised teachers who build the authentic, secure relationships they need in order to learn. Kids with SEND or with parents who don't support learning need these relationships even more. AI can't do the essential human bit.

I sense that my white, anglo-french east London kids aren't a concern to him either. I wonder why he'd write such a tweet. Could it be that he knows this underhand yet blatant racism calls out to the political base he's fostering for himself?

I live on street of people who help each other with things like this. And more should. We all need to be proactive in pulling together in many ways. That's largely where our power lies.

I don't see Zack as a solution. He doesn't strike me as a uniting force in the party and I don't think he has the character to create cross party alliances for the change we need.

Fully agree with your last point. However, Farage supporters think their anger is rational and that ours is irrational. The issue is both men use similar tactics, tapping into anger and maintaining "us v them" division.

I don’t think he’s exactly the same as Farage but I see similarities. His rhetoric is us v them. The Greens need to be a broad church and Zack comes across as the antithesis of that. Caroline knew she had to work with others to make progress. Adrian and Ellie are the same. I don’t think Zack is.

Zack is part of the reason why I left the party. He has an aggressiveness and lacks genuineness and congruence. He’s often on the attack, heightening feelings of injustice and anger towards opponents. I don’t see him inspiring much else. It’s all feeling, like with Farage. No substance.

Can you define "low quality land? Land not enjoyed by humans still usually benefits wildlife. Lots of people write off scrubland, for example, but that's often an essential haven and food source for a wide variety of wildlife.
