Can confirm that one pair has started nesting in our barn 😁 It's in a really high up crevice but there is a lot of flight activity to and fro. I'll keep you posted

I recently discovered the existence of a bird called Bokmakierie and saying the word makes my heart flush, it's like speaking magic. I don't have a photo of one so instead here's a hoopoe on my neighbour's roof; a similarly lovely word.
