There's something unsettling in writing a piece about how Black women are being deeply impacted by this administration. Our unemployment rate is close to 10%, and then several Patreon patrons cancel their patronage. It's probably just a coincidence.

300,000 Black women have left the labor market in a three month period this year, and it's estimated that the unemployment rate for Black women is as high as ten percent but none of this is getting much traction. So, I wrote about it on my blog.

I realize we are being overwhelmed every day, but I fear that if we can't figure out how to hold multiple truths, there is no escaping their end plan. Everything they do is connected, and what we need is more organized action beyond protest.

Less doomscrolling. More community.
