The "sea of autumn goodness" is that cascade of color coming down the slopes from the upper right. It's a little different each year. This time, the oranges were having their say in a beautiful way...

These bright aspen trunks caught my eye...they were set against a sea of autumn goodness. I endeavored to emphasize them in the composition...
