We should openly borrow more ideas from other Democracies and this would help organize things better, and demonstrate that there's an effective cabinet waiting and ready.

Similar role that shadow governments play in Parliamentary systems. Instead of every Dem politician messaging on whatever, there would be a shadow cabinet offering messaging on what "their department" would be doing and focusing/specializing on that area and presenting that they are ready to lead.

Yep, when I moved from the deep south up north I was kind of shocked my taxes did not really go up at all when you look at the big picture, and my kids get free school lunches.

My grandfather was a UCC minister and his wife (my grandmother) marched with James Farmer during the Civil rights movement in Detroit.

United Church of Christ (UCC) ain't bad either. That denomination ordained their first gay minister in 1972.
