Silhouette drawing primarily in black ink of a stoat in combat with a rooster on a patch of wild grasses. The animals face each other; the stoat, at left, is in motion with its hindquarters off the ground and its head tilted up towards the rooster opposite, who leaps into the air, hackles raised, kicking its feet outwards. The rooster's comb and wattle are the only touch of red gouache.
