That's the year I learned not to say "it could be worse . . . " I got a divorce, in a fatal car accident (my fault) and I lost my mom, in the span of 7 months. I do all the Christmas things😄

My mom passed away on 12/19. That Christmas was the worst, it was just my dad and I in the area and it snowed, so the entire city was shut down. My dad came and picked me up though and we got through it❤️ I had to gone to the store and bought a pie, we went to cut into it . . . moldy😄

Pumpkin cheesecake is delicious, but don't spring it on people😄 I made it one year and I thought my grandpa was going to flip a lid. Turns out, if they're expecting that cruddy frozen pie, a cheesecake with lovely caramel sauce will not do.

He was so sweet. I got him when he was 4, and lost him at 15. That tiny chiweenie carried the weight of my world on his little shoulders. He was rescued in Bend by my ex MIL. We had to put her in memory care, so we said we'd rehome him. He was the only thing I fought for in the divorce😄

My best buddy, a couple years ago, the day after Thanksgiving. We had to say "goodbye" to him this year and I miss him every day.

I haven't been on it that far, but I've done it about a million times between Portland and Tacoma (went to school in Tacoma). Such a fun trip. I have done the drive down 101 to San Diego. So worth it.

A few years ago, she was doing work for a charity in Nigeria. I tried to send her a donation through Zelle. My bank was all "this is a suspicious transaction."😄 I had to call them to get it put through. I love her, and I always feel so honored when I get to spend time in her community. The food❤️

They're already doing this with more entry level medical careers. As an effort to attract more CNA's, local companies were offering "free" training and certification *if* you committed to a certain amount of hours post certification. If you bailed on the job, you owe the cost of training. So scummy.

Yesterday, the medical aide at one of my doctors offices asked my husband if I could transfer. Unbelievable. I was just speaking with her and conversating. Maybe try ASKING ME?

Speaking of, not sure what the original thread was about, but I worked with Camelback at one point in my career, I LOVED my hydration pack. Carried all my stuff and had water/straw that was hands free.
