A win! The 9th Circuit allowed Judge Karin Immergut’s restraining order against deploying National Guard troops in Portland to remain in effect while the full appeals court decides whether to rehear the case.

Federal appeals court temporarily bars Portland troop deployment The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals said Friday it wanted more time to decide whether to rehear arguments on the matter.

The order means that, through Tuesday, federalized National Guard members from Oregon (or any other state) are prohibited from deploying in Portland under Judge Immergut’s two active temporary restraining orders.
