Time will tell if Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez are good NBA owners. But it’s tough to be worse than what Timberwolves fans experienced for most of the last 30 years.

And let’s not forget the botching of the sale of his own franchise. Rather than just selling the team straight up, Taylor got himself into this bizarre, multi-year, layaway plan that took four years + 10 months in court to finalize.

There’s also the complete bungling of the Garnett relationship -- the only needle-moving star in franchise history (fingers crossed on Anthony Edwards). KG can be cantankerous, but it is the owner’s responsibility to preserve relationships. Instead, KG’s jersey hangs in the rafters in Boston, not MN

Taylor is also responsible for some of the most embarrassing front office blunders in NBA history… Hiring David Kahn, who passed TWICE on Steph Curry… Paying Joe Smith under the table and having three first round draft picks taken away during the prime of Kevin Garnett’s career… etc.

During Taylor’s ownership, the Wolves also have the 3rd fewest playoff wins (30) of any franchise. Taylor presided over the 3rd longest postseason drought in NBA history -- 13 seasons between playoff appearances. Only twice in 30 years did the Wolves advance in the playoffs.

Over those 30 years, the Wolves own the 4th worst winning % in the NBA. This includes having a top-25 player of all-time for 40% of those seasons.

Glen Taylor’s 30 years of Timberwolves ownership will go down as one of the worst tenures in NBA history…

A storyline to watch tonight...

Earlier this season, Brian Flores blitzed Jared Goff on nearly 60% of his pass attempts.

Goff went 15-for-16 vs. those blitzes, averaging 10 yards per attempt.

Sam Darnold is providing the best single-season QB play the Vikings have had since 2009.
