Oracle DBA since a very low version ago. Big Data, especially on Exadata and ExaScale. LinkedIn instructor, occasional author. Too many keyboards.

22.06.2025 03:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I did this with 23.7 in the pre-built VirtualBox appliance:
alter system set inmemory_force=base_level scope=spfile;
alter system set inmemory_size=256m scope=spfile;
Of course there is only so much memory to work with, but I see this at the PDB level:

Use code. No token tumbling. I know you need tokens to think.

I see that the OP provided the good and bad plans -- is there any other further answer to their question about plan stability?

Is Tushar on the tech support team or in sales?

Apparently Tushar also forgot to ask about instances in Google Cloud too. ๐ฎ
(realizing this after 50 years while heating something up in the microwave):
OF COURSE it's not "bad luck" that an accidentally dropped buttered slice of toast falls butter side down most of the time. DUH center of gravity and density.
At first I thought it was a waterlogged bagel.

23.02.2025 12:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0There are so many of them they had to join tables. Of course, in this case the tables can be joined with a database link but finishing a conversation took a lot longer than expected because of the high latency between each of the cloud providers even when they're in the same alcohol domain (AD).
