I tell myself he never actually does 99% of what he says he will, he just riles everyone up until we want to kill ourselves

Sometimes I walk my parents dogs but idk how much I trust them, they react to any little noise and it’s never a bear lol. Dog who cried wolf

Ha that is indeed an unusual one! I've never lost a shoe completely but the first big hike I ever did the sole ripped off my shoe and I had to duct tape it. Recently on a group backpacking trip one guy lost the sole of his shoe too, and we had to wrap paracord around to tie it together. #parkchat

100% and I think there's also something to be said for messing up and having a few blunders in the beginning, it's like you kinda have to have a few of those to learn. How many times a day do you have close encounters with bison on that trail? It looks so cool but I don't have a gauge on how big of a concern the bison situation is. Some pictures I've seen show these giant herds #parkchat
