My annoying ttrpg take tonight: I never don't want a map. I don't expect there to always be a map, I'm fine with not every scene having a map, but even in games that don't need a map, I want the map. If given the option, there's never a situation where I'll choose theater of the mind over a good map

I'm revealing my big ttrpg project soon, and I need my followers to appreciate why it's taken so long. This week I'm doing my final pass over the (tr)ashcan edition, sitting at 140 pages with no almost art, no GM materials, and minimal setting fluff. It is a big and absurd game for tactics perverts.

I'm happy to see people are still excited for this despite being my pinned for months- I've fallen benind after dealing with some chronic illness over the summer and september but rest assured I'm still cooking and atm I'm only a fully illustrations shy of the big fancy reveal I'd like to drop soon.
