Ran our 2nd session yesterday. They defebded their ship from undead and had a total success in the following montage test to heal the crew and safely beach on an unknown island. Where they subsequently saw a lizardfolk deathrex chomp someone in half.

I've spent more on less worthwhile things. Even if it's not amazing, maybe success on this will encourage more campaign writers to join in.

It's so simple and just works with minimal explanation. I still remember parts where Belgarath is teaching Garion. And that damn loose step in the tower haha.

I did read about the Eddings and their peculiarities... And the books don't hold up to current standards. But man do I miss the simplicity.

I'm tempted to do a re-read of the Belgariad and Mallorian (my teenage books) after a visit to my folks place. Now you've got me worried 😅
