(Pt3) I will try to be as anonymous here as possible. I am wishing to stay below the big radar. I have family I cannot trust, and I need to do my best to keep strong statements I make here from going right to those I cannot trust. It is sad that I have family that helped lead us to where we are.

(pt2) With Meta being so not meta, I need to step away from there. I won't be deleting my acct, but I will likely remove the app from my phone. I use the account for business purposes, so I cannot totally get rid of it. The rhetoric is just a bit much and not helping anything.

I am a grandchild of one of the workers that was a part of the Autolite strike of 1934 in Toledo, OH. An infamous event in US labor history which led OH National Guard killing 2 strikers and injuring 200 others. Resistance is in my blood.

I bared a little too much. It was very cathartic for me, but maybe too heavy for others; so I removed the addendums. Let's just say that I grew up in a toxic home environment.

These 2 comments on a YouTube video resonated with me. They put words to the melancholy feelings I have been having the past few years. I want to remember the person that I thought I wanted to be... To understand how impactful this is requires digging deep into my past. More in comments.

There are those that say it is just as harmful and a distraction to advocate violence against the worst of the redhats. It's the Tolerance Paradox. Being tolerant of intolerance rewards their behavior. My position is the best defense is being prepared for the need for offensive action.

Other than my desire to support resistance to a wannabe tyrant... There is my work, my love of music, food, and Fallout. When I say I am a gamer it pretty much falls to all things Fallout and a smattering of Strategy and a couple other RPGs. Any of which I will happily discuss

I'm expressing here what I can't express elsewhere. I don't see this being just a rough patch. Being passive, tolerant of the intolerant, and thinking it will always get better got us here. We became too complacent and siloed. Looking out for #1 was not the best option! We sacrificed everyone else

Get the pitchforks and torches ready. Resistance is not an empty meme to post, it is an active position to take. By reliable estimates, more than 70% of the people did not vote for the little orange antichrist. The numbers are in our favor.

Stop false equivalency. Have the Democrats done harmful acts to our society? Yes, they have. Especially the Reagancrats/Neo-liberals. But of the 2 big parties, they have been the only one not actively and aggressively trying to destroy democracy.
