Some detainees were arrested at routine immigration appointments, Padilla and Schiff say after oversight tour | LA Local The California Democratic senators carried out the congressional oversight tour amid the onslaught of immigration raids across the region.

Some of the detainees at the California City detention facility were detained at immigration hearings.
