I dunno, Shakira law sounds kinda fun.

I've been waiting for the Democratic Party to wake up and realize that you can't rely on the opposition having any honor, because they have demonstrated repeatedly that they don't.

But that's being generous, because the Dems haven't been an opposition party in real practice for decades.

It's been a lot longer than a decade. Someday the Democrats will give me someone to vote *for*, but I feel like their pitch is "we're not as bad as the other guys."

I will slightly disagree - yea, a lot of the depictions of computers are cringe, and were cringe at the time, but the depiction of hacking tactics: dumpster diving, shoulder surfing, pretexting, and so on were pretty good. It also captured a certain, if amplified, vibe of the time.
