these people are delusional in the truest sense of the word. I'd say they're constructing a fictional reality but even that does not do it justice, it's aggressively anti-reality.

I would plea to Americans to understand that a narcissist approaching his ninth decade of narcissism cannot conceive of a world independent from his hatred and grudges and to treat his words and actions accordingly.

Better than the alternative

A family outside their home. Their deck is loaded with guns.

IMO many Americans don't even buy guns for personal protection or to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. They simply have a shopping addiction

Hard fucking same. The way that people talk about homeless people--like pests to be eradicated, or like threats to housed people--sends me into a rage. Treat people like people, you absolute gremlins.

The media is desperate to recast the pandemic as a "both-sides made mistakes" story. On one hand, Republicans killed hundreds of thousands of people though a herd immunity strategy and vaccine denial. On the other, Fauci issued an accurate recommendation without a specific citation.

I have a deep affinity for people who are out and about carrying canvas tote bags and a large mason jar filled with a comfort bev.

The current internet iteration feels like the establishment figured that out and said, “fuck no” and ripped that away with monetization and soul sucking algorithms.

That being said, there’s some kind of unique democratizing magic that the internet facilitated. It gave writers, artists, musicians, etc the ability to crown themselves without needing the establishment to do it.

I’ve been chronically online for two decades and honestly… I wouldn’t be mad if the internet disappeared.

If capitalism has us so thoroughly shackled that we can’t invest any time and attention into the one day a year a kid truly wants to be seen and celebrated, it’s time to revolt, my dudes, not make AI do it.

It just feels like… if we as humans don’t have the time/energy/attention to plan our 5 year old’s birthday, there’s a bigger problem than the fact that AI will most definitely fuck it up.

This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.
