Just hesitant to get into any protracted discussion but also that it's okay to say these foods are also English.

Yeah like pasties fair enough, but its not really that different to pies in general. I love a tattie scone and would always take it over a hashbrown, but struggle with the idea that a 'full breakfast' isn't English but is Welsh, Scottish or Cornish. Similar to a Sunday roast.

Probs gonna regret this but what is Scottish, Welsh or Cornish but not English?

I think the current madness pervading the Right in this country is far, far deeper and wider than the grand illusion of Corbynism was for the left between 2015 and 2019.

Oscar-winning director reveals why Sycamore Gap Tree is included in hit film "It had already been destroyed by the time we came to film, so we recreated it for the same reasons that you see the Queen in this… all the…

The Sycamore Gap Tree had a 'cameo' in 28 Years Later. It was recreated using CGI to show both the alternate timeline in the movie and as a tribute. Can't decide how I feel about this, but shows that even in death, the tree is abstracted from nature.

Feels like quite a few people have been waiting their whole lives for the moment when being openly racist in print is no longer career ending and are determined to make the most of it.

Luke and I wrote a paper!

Two years ago, the Sycamore Gap Tree was cut down in the dead of night. Responses to this "act of vandalism" made us think about the role of nature in ontic space, and dualism between human and non/human allows for destruction of nature.

Completely and I've definitely seem him refer to people as Uncle Tom's before so fair assumption, but just in this context my assumption was more as a greeting.

Honestly don't think that's what he is trying to imply here. Uncle/Aunty is a pretty common expression in lots of cultures for 'elders/seniors' etc.

Not a bad run tbf considering everthing going on around the club. Hopefully we can keep it going through December and should be in a decent place for the second half of the season.
