I just noticed a GSAP animation I wrote was calling a class that didn’t exist and subsequently a console error. Fixed. One bolt down…

Posting this seems to have done the trick. See you’ve now had a response…. πŸ‘ But more generally, it’s a shame that it’s becoming the norm that to get support from companies they need calling out publicly.

I’ve not used it on a client project. Yet. I think it would provide our designer a good idea of what we from from a UX/SEO perspective, though, so if we get more bigger project Webflow work through, it’d be worth it. Is Webflow your thing??

Relume β€” Websites designed & built faster with AI | AI website builder Use AI as your design ally, not as a replacement. Effortlessly generate sitemaps and wireframes for marketing websites in minutes with Relume’s AI website builder.

The paid plan allows you to then publish this as draft in Webflow so you can get to work. Grunt work done. www.relume.io

It does pretty much what you asked for. If you’re familiar with Client First (a kind of BEM alternative) then it works seamlessly with that.

Uses AI for you to describe your site build, then creates a suggested sitemap and wireframe with each page having suggested content and layout.

I get ya. TBH the scroll bars have never been a thing for me. I run a small agency and we’re embedded with macs for various reasons, but the terminal and unix commands are pretty much the same as Linux so dev work is the same. I used to find myself spending more time tweaking Ubuntu than using it.

19.12.2024 21:06 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah I agree. You’re used to what you’re used to. Having installed Debian on many a Dell server with hardware that the stable version didn’t support, and on many laptops, I know about Linux. But for me, Macs offer a far better overall, far more polished ecosystem. Also both share a Unix like base

Ahh. Le Creuset pans are the best. And heaviest. The toffee looks good!

Absolutely no idea. Might grandfather us, we’d save a whole $4/m! But ever little helps.

18.12.2024 17:28 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

This is pretty neat.

Strangely I have a notice on our dashboard that our pricing will remain the same. It is currently $840/y Agency w/ 2 seat. However according to Webflow should be $888 on new plan.

18.12.2024 15:49 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

True. I watched some z-list celeb being interviewed the other day though, and the word like was probably 50% of all words spoken. Is it normalised to that degree? Probably yes.

18.12.2024 06:49 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The word β€œlike” trumps it, like.

17.12.2024 22:52 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, maybe. I opted for the larger iPhone model, but that’s partly because it’s almost a laptop replacement for me. And I feel like I’ve had a workout after holding it a while πŸ’ͺ. I have even been known to talk to people on it…

17.12.2024 21:12 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, really nice and thank you.

TBH it was a bit buggy for me, would not load consistently. I removed the async and called β€˜letItSnow()’ inside a document loaded listener which worked. Added before closing body.

17.12.2024 20:48 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

And done. Our website now has a little Christmas cheer.

Had to remove the async (which it seems was added as a fix?) and call inside a document loaded, otherwise seemed a bit hit and miss and didn’t work at all on mobile.

17.12.2024 20:43 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes, very cool to see. Then everything went tiny, very tiny, then big again. There is something kinda an Intel β€œiPhone X iPad” mashup going on there, though.

The one thing it doesn’t do well still (on the free tier) is keep hold of a conversation. If you ask a follow up question, that you assume it will contextualise from the original question, Gemini will often provide an answer that has no bearing on the original question. ChatGPT does this well.

17.12.2024 19:29 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Oh yes, totally agree. I just found it interesting that this was the case. And if ChatGPT is really going to be a challenger in the market, it’s always worth noting.

The fact that it reported so accurately on our web presence tells me we’re doing something right.
