Looking out from inside a hollow tree, the rocky creek bed is framed by the opening.

A photo of green moss and fern taken from ground-level. There are some pine needles and a burgundy(ish) leaf in the frame as well.

Mosstalgic in the forest again today. I can't resist moss and fern together.

A very large tree laying in the forest. It has dark green moss growing along the entire tree. The tree is positioned toward the top third of the frame. There are bright green leaves and forest behind the tree. In contrast, there are a lot of brown leaves covering the forest floor and decaying tree trunks and limbs in front of the big tree, on the ground. Brighter green moss is growing on some of the decaying wood in front.

I'd be happy here.

Lots of driftwood on a sandy, pebbly beach. There's a variety of wood-types, sizes, and stages of decay.

Bright green moss with grass growing through the middle. It sits between two tree roots. There are some leaves, sticks, acorns and one small slate-colored stone sitting on top of the moss. Observation: I think the stone has good taste.

I must be crazy today.

Looking down the center line of an empty two-lane country road. Blue sky, clouds and one lonely tree by a small house on the left. It has a red roof. There's another building a little further up. To me, this road says, 'freedom ahead.' It's one of *those* road pictures.

A lone stone on bright green moss, growing on a big tree trunk of driftwood. Surrounded by a beach full of driftwood everywhere on a breezy day.

Golden sunset beyond the trees. Fluffy, reflective clouds and rays. A thin electrical wire horizontally across the frame. Barely noticeable. Perfectly in line with the clouds. No birds on the wire today.

A picture I took from under a tiny, red-capped mushroom. Like a Smurf. Surrounded by mounds of moss, I imagine it's the hillside. It makes me want to stay under here for a bit. Shade and solitude, cool ground and the smell of fresh dirt...hidden from view.
