it cannot be said enough, and should be shouted from the rooftops:
this is a fake legal issue that's been backstopped by on-demand scholarship from academics who are part of the same project as the conservative justices. the "authority" they will cite is no better than citing AI slop.
If you want a read about the recent anti-constituonal attempt to denaturalize American children from their claim to birthright citizenship using bad history, @evanbernick.bsky.social, @gowder.io, I wrote about it in the Cornell Law Review Online. publications.lawschool.cornell.edu/lawreview/wp...

Once more for those in the back: bush v gore, decided 25 years ago next week (12/12), was the 21st centuryβs original sin.
Everything that has gone wrong for the US, and by extension the world, stems from that corrupt and shameless decision. #scotus

It makes Putin and Stephen Miller the architects of US foreign policy. The big loser? Our allies. The big winner? China.
05.12.2025 12:51 β π 125 π 56 π¬ 3 π 1Wow, somehow I missed the news that Marc Andreesen's investment firm hired the guy who choked a homeless man to death on the subway. Their explanation for doing so is facially absurd, so you have to assume they're just symbolically endorsing vigilante violence.
04.12.2025 18:59 β π 336 π 103 π¬ 17 π 5The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyyβs plane & itβs barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. Weβve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesnβt even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.
05.12.2025 02:04 β π 11007 π 5471 π¬ 284 π 210The United States has long handled the problem of maritime drug smuggling by using the Coast Guard to intercept boats and to arrest people. That echoes how it works on land: Police officers who believe people are dealing drugs arrest them, and if they are convicted, they serve time in prison. They are not executed. It would be a crime if officers instead simply gunned down suspected drug dealers in the street. Similarly, a military force is not allowed to target civilians, and being a suspected criminal does not make someone lose civilian status. In peacetime, targeting a civilian is murder. In an armed conflict, targeting a civilian is a war crime.
Notable absence of hemming and hawing and βcritics sayβ bullshit here. The NYT is getting closer and closer to calling t murder. Good on ya. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/04/us/politics/trump-boat-attacks-killings.html

This is a crime against humanity. Everyone involved should be prosecuted for murdering stranded civilians in cold blood.

Text: Entrance Whoever you are: in the evening step out of your room, where you know everything; yours is the last house before the far-off: whoever you are. With your eyes, which in their weariness barely free themselves from the worn-out threshold, you lift very slowly one black tree and place it against the sky: slender, alone. And you have made the world. And it is huge and like a word which grows ripe in silence. And as your will seizes on its meaning, tenderly your eyes let it go . . .
Happy birthday in eternity, Rainer Maria Rilke

and like a word which grows ripe in silence."
