I'm old enough to remember the Trump administration being unprepared for anything except lining their own pockets.

malice/rudeness/intolerance & suspicion are the faults of weakness. The resentment of the weak does not spring from any injustice done to them but from their sense of inadequacy/impotence. We can't win them by sharing our wealth. They feel our generosity as oppression.
