Listen, I know it's probably far below the bar of puppetry you're looking for, but honestly, ONE puppet should be a simple sock puppet. With the googliest of eyes!

07.08.2025 21:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You should continue to not accept unsolicited advice on this app!
07.08.2025 14:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's true, not every D&D (or any TTRPG) campaign needs to devote tons of energy towards wrapping up every player character's personal story.
We can tell amazing stories about the group's adventures right in front of us without veering off into a deep dive of one character's background.
This is a take I can 100% get behind. I'll try to make some contributions!
06.08.2025 03:40 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm truly so proud of this and the work the entire Draw Steel team did. Itโs rare to be given both the opportunity and the freedom to take big swings like this, and @jamesintrocaso.bsky.social, @hellomcdm.bsky.social, and @mattcolville.bsky.social made it possible.
So, so proud of what we made.
COUNTERPOINT:
You DON'T hate it. Did you ever consider THAT?!

An image of a section of the Indianapolis Convention Center where people are building very large structures made out of playing cards from various trading card games (such as Magic the Gathering).
Every year they build this whole card city and then hold a raffle for one winner to knock them all down. For charity. This is only day 2, 2 days to go.

An image of Palantir CEO Alexander Carp in front of several United States flags over a headline from some internet "media outlet." An independent TTRPG, "The Cunning Folk," sits 9n a sofa cushion. The blue/gray sofa is missing it's legs and set flush on a patterned rug.
Did the Cunning Folk take all the legs off my furniture for letting this book sit in my mailbox for too long?
@emilygreymoore.bsky.social this is a lovely lil' book! It's elegantly simple and the artwork is adorably whimsical. 10/10.

"When you see that someone uses AI, you need to take a deep breath and hit pause on your rage."
AI includes many things that aren't generative AI, I.E. Midjourney or ChatGPT.
Figure out what it is, first.
If it turns out to be the bad AI, then by all means RAGE AWAY.
I'll join you.
A quote attributed to the director of "Dying Light: The Beast." It is not attributed by name. The quote is: "If I start playing Assassin's Creed Shadows, I know I will never finish it."
I can empathize.
I finished "AC: Shadows" and feel like I still haven't finished "AC: Shadows."
At the end, I felt like I just only completed the 2d act, with a whole underlying plot left unfinished.
But that's on me for playing an Ubisoft game.

A meme image in two panels, one over the other. The top panel is a man wearing a white T-Shirt lying in bed, presumably in a hotel room. He has a landline phone with the receiver to his ear. There is a dialogue box and he says, "Hi! I'd like a wake up call." The lower panel is a woman with medium length blonde hair wearing casual professional attire. She is sitting at a desk, presumably the reception desk at the hotel the man is staying in. She also has a phone receiver to her ear and a text box where she responds to the man's request by saying, "You have waaaaaay too many board games."
Some of ya'll need to keep this in mind next week at Gen Con.
Also, "Some of ya'll" is me.

My 9th grade English teacher brought this in and showed us "Romeo and Juliet" (1968) and told us to behave during the scene with nudity. Before the movie started. The class acted wilder during the announcement than when it happened...but still weird for a teacher to show a film with nudity in it...
