The device is being trialled at Royal United Hospitals Bath to help reposition patients in intensive care.
Clinical trials of an inflatable pillow made to make moving critically-ill patients safer, faster, and less labour-intensive for NHS staff have begun.
The 'BathMat' has been co-developed by staff in our Dept of Mechanical Engineering and at Bath's hospital, the RUH.
