If I had any pull at Marvel, that Cross Time Caper would NEVER end! Every few years that train lands in another book, everyone takes a look around, says something like "ugh, this is the worst earth yet" and then leaves.

I remember a few years ago, he was going to be in an update of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN, but I think we collectively wished that away.

Cap and Doom panels from Captain America vol. 2, #13, "World War III, Part 4: War Without End..." Written by James Robinson, art by Ron Lim, inks by Danny Bulanadi. With the Marvel and Wildstorm universes separating again, Doom argues to Reed that this doesn't even count as a loss; he's had a taste of world domination and will have it again; even if none of them, the readers included, remember any of this. For no reason, I hear Doom's little speech in the same cadence as a SPEED RACER villain.

I hardily disagree! It's fun, and got me interested in some of the Wildstorm stuff I wasn't familiar with. On the Marvel side, there's some stuff like Wanda still digs androids, and Doom arguing this loss really counts as a win for him.
