At this point, no matter who is right, everyone loses. No one is innocent, no one is in the right, because everyone has stopped caring about hurting the other side. And the longer it goes on, the more people get hurt. People who never had anything to do with it to begin with.

My only contribution to the discourse(tm) is this: Sometimes we get so caught up in feeling hurt ourselves that we stop caring if we hurt others. But as long as we always take an eye for every eye we lose, nothing ever gets better. We need to be willing to be wrong, and let things go, and apologize.
