The EHRC guidance is not being challenged in court. It can not be because it hasn't been issued yet.

The law is clear and will not change. The Labour majority in Commons do not want Farage to be next PM. If Farage does win, the GRA will go. Tough luck on greedy TIMs that asked for too much.

But it will go through. If you want to change the law, you must make a persuasive case to enough lawmakers. And on these issues, that's not realistic.

As a political matter, the trans fad is over. All the big parties have dropped it or never went there in the first place.
