Sally - surely productivity starts with the small steps.....

If I were in your shoes, my first point would be to make 'national' holidays identical across the board.

Labor Day, King's B'day etc need to be national holidays.

We lose days of productivity due to ppl being off due to hols.

Don't be fooled by this BS.

She's sending up the Bat Signal for Gina to come and pay her legal fees - (which would of course Gina could find in spare change down the side of her couch.)

Unfortunately - she's not going anywhere.

Sorry - to be more precise - Big ticket political fundraising will be diverted to the Coalition and away from the ALP.

I heard the statement in question.

It was deplorable.

There were so many reasons it was utterly disgusting - but couldn't figure what hit me the most.

This is it. πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

β€˜Does not belong in this country’: Hockey Australia stands by Peris as more anti-Islam re-posts emerge The Olympic champion shared a series of social media posts scathing of the religion in the lead-up to her election as a director of the government-funded sport.

Hockey Australia - a federally tax-funded body "stands by" this?

Imagine if someone had said something so egregious about your heritage Nova?

Rugby fans urged to look for innovative travel paths to Sydney match The British & Irish Lions tour is sending some domestic airfares sky-high and expected to boost earnings for Virgin and Qantas.

"Airlines are the big winners out of the Lions’ tour, with travellers paying more to fly domestically to the match in Sydney than they would to go via Bali."

Alternatively - Airlines are again gouging customers - because they can, and the ACCC is useless.

I think most of us will support this - but how do we know?

TBH - I've lost confidence in the "Made in Australia" triangular stamp.

My feeling is that it could stand for 98% made offshore - but perhaps wrapped here in Aus.

Am I alone in feeling this?

β€˜Make agriculture great again’: Trump administration claims win on Australian beef The government insists the move to allow US beef into Australia is the result of a biosecurity review rather than trade talks, but the Trump administration undercut that on Thursday.

Trump is currently suing -Murdoch- owner of Fox News - the propaganda cable ch. that single-handedly got him re-elected.

There is no loyalty with this administration.

The thought that we could curry favour by dropping beef import restrictions in ludicrous.

Australians β€˜going to sleep’ on China threat, Morrison tells US Congress In a rare congressional appearance by a former government leader, Scott Morrison warned US lawmakers they must never become casual about the threat posed by Beijing, and to remain vigilant.

Scomo - in his "personal capacity" tells Congress:

-China is dangerous
-My govt did the right thing by standing up to them
-Gives Albo govt no credit for improving relations
-Farmers congratulated me for our position

This bloke is both mad and dangerous.

He’s a sceptic. So what might Colby recommend to Trump on AUKUS? Donald Trump’s defence undersecretary Elbridge Colby is reviewing the AUKUS pact and could suggest big changes, but defence experts say some of those ideas are non-starters.

β€œWhy, would we help country A arm itself if country A would not render assistance in a fight?” Hewitt wrote.

Here's a btr question - why would we allow our country to be overtaken U.S military bases, put our public at risk of your war-mongering needs?
