The conflict here is that the justices aren’t using the emergency docket as a temporary tool, they’re making “precedent” and expecting lower court judges to apply it without explanation. This is why we’re seeing so much frustration from lower court judges.

I know he'd be more modest because he's a good guy, and of course others involved play a big part in how these things play out. It's never just the reporting. But I'd say it's beyond dispute his has been the most impactful US criminal justice journalism of anyone living. He's earned serious respect.

And not just any reporter. Radley Balko's reporting has gotten an innocent man off death row. He's broken multiple major stories about huge scandals. He goes in-depth on the ground with tons of local sources. Dismissing his detailed debunking as Weiss did is something no serious journalist would do.

The US Jewish right is a 30% minority of the community that tries to draw boundaries that exclude most American Jews, so as to portray themselves as the majority. They’d rather rule over a smaller community than work for influence in a larger one.

Mamdani is winning a plurality of the NYC Jewish vote, so the Jews going to hear him speak inside this synagogue are more representative of NYC Jews than the ones protesting outside.

Also she’s not reliable on anything, it is clear that 1 reason she is acting the way she is, not just on Israel, these days is because she was not given the blessings or the job offers from the trump White House in the past year that she wanted
