Am I wrong to assume that changing from option 1 to option 2 would increase the total by the difference between those prices? Because the total goes up by the full cost of option 2 when you move to that from option 1.
To clarify you are not selecting both.
This feels like misleading pricing.

A screen grab of the Policy Expert car insurance process. The current total price is Β£385.03 with the β€˜roadside and recovery’ breakdown cover included at Β£30.56. The next option down is β€˜roadside, recovery & at home’ with a cost of Β£39.42.

Okay - it’s car insurance renewal time and I’m looking at quotes but have been utterly bamboozled by Policy Experts pricing - looking at the options below, how much would you expect the price to change by if you changed the selected option for breakdown cover to the β€˜at home’ option?

I’m trying to watch something on ITVx. An infrequent thing. It is like ITV actively try to prevent themselves having viewers, the app is that broken and unwieldy.

Not entirely sure why they didn’t change it to Serving Camp - but was still all over this. Best of the night by far.
The performance, the song, the vocal, the energy, the staging… 10s across the board.
Utterly robbed.

Really happy with the outcome of the first bracket for #AllStars10 - everyone progressing is someone I’m happy to see more of, though to be fair that was true of them all. But these queens totally smashed it imo. Shaping up to be a good season

Keir Starmer praises Margaret Thatcher for bringing β€˜meaningful change’ to UK Labour leader says former PM β€˜set loose our natural entrepreneurialism’ in appeal to Tory voters to back him

Keir Starmer is slowly building the legacy of people celebrating his passing like they did for his idol Margaret Thatcher.

The party leader welcomed the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement.
No one is saying they’re the same. But which parties are *only* showcasing and showing support?
The party doesn’t get to be part of a pride march if the official and public messaging of the party isn’t consistently inclusive.

Greens and LD aren’t actively contributing because they lack the impact or media spotlight. Their both are not consistently speaking in support.
The clock is being set to 0 for all. If it’s as different as you say they’ll be getting invited back soon making a point to the others who aren’t.

This IS a challenge to do better.

As a human and individual you are not being prevented from attending, especially if you are using your platform as you say you are.
Now use that platform to ensure your party as a whole consistently supports LGBTQ+ rights if you want them officially included.

STANDING TOGETHER: A UNITED FRONT FOR TRANS RIGHTS
As the organisers of the UK's largest Pride events in Birmingham, Brighton, London and Manchester, we come together today in unequivocal solidarity with our trans community.
We are united not only in message, but in purpose.
At a time when trans rights in the UK are under growing attack, our resolve has never been stronger: we will not allow progress to be undone.
We will not stand by as the dignity, safety, and humanity of our trans siblings are debated, delayed, or denied.
What is happening here in the UK is not isolated. It is part of a disturbing global trend-from the banning of Pride events in Hungary to anti-trans legislation in the United States-where LGBTQ+ rights are being systematically rolled back.
The UK must not follow this path of regression. Instead, it must rise as a global leader in human rights and equality.
The recent ruling by the UK Supreme Court to exclude trans women from the definition of the term 'woman' underscores the urgent need for immediate action. In this moment, we choose to stand firmer, louder, and prouder in demanding change that protects and uplifts trans lives.
That is why this year, we are collectively suspending political party participation in our Pride events.
Know that this is not a symbolic gesture. It is a direct call for accountability and a refusal to platform those who have not protected our rights. We demand real commitments and measurable progress. The Pride movement was born from protest, and we must continue to embody that spirit with intention and urgency.

To move forward, we need more than promises. We need every political party to stand unequivocally with every member of the LGBTQ+ community, and to centre the voices of trans people in policy, practice, and public life. Collectively, we call for:
β€’ Full and enforceable protections under the Equality Act
β€’ Timely and dignified access to NHS gender-affirming healthcare
β€’ A reformed, accessible Gender Recognition Certificate process
β€’ Sustainable funding for trans-led services and support organisations across the UK
This is the minimum. Anything less is not allyship, it is abandonment.
To those in power: when you demonstrate true solidarity and tangible commitment to trans rights, we will stand with you. Until then, we will continue to speak truth to power and fight for a future where every trans person can live safely, freely, and proudly.
As Pride events across the UK face mounting challenges, our resolve only grows stronger. We will not be silenced. We will not be divided. Together, we will build a national movement rooted in justice, unity, and unapologetic pride.
Now, more than ever, we need everyone to show up for trans lives and show up for Pride.
In solidarity,

No trans women have ever played in super league football.

There’s 30 playing amateur level out of millions of players.

7 of 20 premier league teams had players or bosses investigated for sexual crimes between 2020-2023.

Women were banned from playing football for 50 years.

How a Tiny Crab Museum in the UK Stood Up For Trans Rights Leaning on its expertise in biology, the museum said that β€œthere are no binaries in nature” and called the recent anti-trans ruling β€œan abuse of science.”

International Crab Day is April 26, so there’s no better time to put some respect on the Crab Museum in Margate for its unwavering public support for trans rights after the UK Supreme CourtΒ ruled that a woman is defined by β€œbiological sex” rather than gender identity.
