I'm sure we're going to see the very people who have trashed its legacy seek to appropriate WW2 today - so let's remember what was really fought for: peace, a more united Europe, a land fit for heroes (mark 2) and the defeat of fascism.
Fed up with Farage? Me too. Iβve signed the Never Nigel Pledge. Add your name today, and help show that division and hate have no place in our communities.

Reading this at the moment. FDR surrounded himself with men and women who disagreed with each other and him, he experimented with plans and policies to fight the Great Depression, he thought government should have active responsibilities for all peopleβs welfare, and he knew he had to fight fascism

"Deporting" is sending someone back, after due process, to the country they came from, where they arrive a free person. This is human trafficking to a foreign torture prison for the rest of their lives. GET THE LANGUAGE RIGHT.

In GE2019, the Tories got 56% of seats on 44% of the votes. In GE2024, Labour got 63% of seats on 34% of the votes.
We need to change this system so that seats match votes - voters should get the MPs and policies they vote for.

Sad, unprincipled and always backfires in the end.
KS is looking less and less like a statesman. He says we can be friends of both US and the EU and have been for years. The problem with this statement is that we were part of the EU!
