I think the real power of the control scheme for me is the fact you can do anything you don't know yet with the mouse so you naturally ease into using shortcuts. You can tell how experienced a player ease just by how often they stop to click on things.

Yeah that's definitely fair, flash does technically shorten the wait time by a turn which is very good. I suppose it's just a personal preference of mine for flashers to be able to affect the game just by suddenly existing on the board (ETBs/ passive abilities/ fringe uses, etc.)

Is it weird that I think she could use haste? Like, she does alot, but none of her pieces really fit together to form a game plan. Giving her haste would allow you to rummage from hand at instant speed which feels like it justifies giving her flash in the first place.
